Mindful Self-Compassion
for Well-being
Mindful Self-Compassion for Well-being
is a research-supported, 6-week online workshop designed to enhance well-being by learning vital skills of self-care. Mindful Self-Compassion develops our awareness in the present moment and cultivates our intention to extend the same positive support and care to ourselves that we more readily show to others.
Practicing Mindful Self-Compassion boosts confidence, motivation and resilience as we move through desired changes. By cultivating these skills, we can navigate life’s moments with increased meaning, resourcefulness, and kind responses that encourage well-being in any season of life.
After participating in this training workshop, you will be able to:
– Practice self-compassion in daily life
– Understand benefits of self-compassion
– Motivate with kindness rather than criticism
– Strengthen personal connections
– Handle difficult moments with greater ease
Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff, PhD, and the clinical expertise of psychotherapist Christopher Germer, PhD, this workshop includes group discussions, experiential exercises, guided meditations and home practices after each weekly session. No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is required to participate.
