Program Overview
“Grounding Skills for Wellbeing” offers foundational skills to nurture personal wellbeing and wholeness. Combining evidence-based research, ancient wisdom and experiential learning, we will explore the grounding skills of non-judgmental Awareness, kind Intentions, and Meaning-inspired actions. By applying these AIM skills in daily life, we can navigate life’s challenges and opportunities with grace and resilience and be engaged in our overall health and wellbeing.

Guided Practice
Trained facilitators introduce a variety of time-tested practices such as mindfulness, mind-body exercises, setting personal intentions, and exploring core values for meaning-inspired living. Exploring these regular practices helps us develop deeper awareness of thoughts, emotions, external and internal sensations, and connections, leading to less reactive, more skillful responses in daily life.

Education
Experiential learning is central to this workshop, highlighting the traditional understanding of education – to foster, to bring forth that which is already within. Moving beyond imparting informational knowledge about wholeness and wellbeing, “Grounding Skills” is transformational. Drawing on the wisdom of our lived experiences, unique stories and lifestyles, this workshop fosters fresh insights, expanded mindsets, and growth toward integration and change. Our sessions include large and small group conversations, regular embodied practices, and creative reflections.

Community
Compassionate Community is the context of “Grounding Skills of Wellbeing.” In a supportive community, we feel a sense of belonging, the encouragement to explore new practices and invitations to share our experiences openly. We invite this sense of community through extending deep welcome, maintaining mutual respect, listening generously, and offering guided interactions where we raise questions, and encourage one another in cultivating our inner capacities toward wholeness and wellbeing.
